We encourage adults to check out the latest reads in our fiction and non-fiction sections as well as our huge selection of large print books, paperbacks, and audiobooks. Want to take a break from reading? We also have a large selection of DVDs that you can checkout. Our extensive puzzle swap will keep you busy, too!

History Hijinks – Third Monday of each month 5:30pm
Fighting the sea with swords? Blood feuds over a bucket? Dolphins rescuing opera singers from pirates? It’s more likely than it sounds! Join us every third Monday of the month for an interactive lecture about some of the strangest (and funniest) recorded events in history! The topics and time periods for each meeting will be listed on our monthly calendar of events.

PML Book Club – Last Monday of each month 5:30PM
Join our book club to discuss this month’s selection. Copies of the book may be picked up at the library’s Circulation Desk.

Tech Tuesdays – Third Tuesday of each month 2PM
Each month, we will introduce and explore everyday applications for a home computer, such as word processors like Microsoft Word and Google Docs; email software like Microsoft Outlook and Google Gmail; and safe internet browsing habits.

Silver Screen Movie – Wednesdays 1PM
We will screen a classic film in our Reading Nook with light refreshments.

Oh, Scrap! Scrapbooking – Every First and Third Saturday of the month 11AM to 2PM
Join with other creative minded patrons to create your own scrapbook! Art supplies like glue, scissors, magazines, newspapers, and construction paper are provided to allow you to design your own collage to take home with you!

Triple Thread Knitting Club – Last Saturday of each month 10am
Join our staff and other patrons in knitting and crocheting! Yarn is provided.

Fright Fanatics – Saturday 1PM (Check calendar for date)
Don’t be scared! Our Fright Fanatics meet once a month to view a spooky movie with light refreshments.

Anime Club – Saturday 1PM (Check calendar for date)
Our Anime Club meets once monthly to view a movie and enjoy Poppukōn!
