Welcome to the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Children’s Wing!

This wing of the Pittston Memorial Library officially opened in August of 2015, and it is full of fun for your young ones!
We do ask that an adult is present with anyone ages 12 and younger in this wing.

In 2025, the Pittston Memorial Library has successfully completed the Play & Grow Library project. The focus of this project is to create high quality preschool programming and creating early childhood areas that appeal to families with children from birth to Kindergarten. Programming focuses on the importance of play, integrating opportunities for social emotional learning, and family engagement. Materials wee provided through funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) through the Library Sciences and Technology Act (LSTA).
